Amy is a recurring Sub-Boss in The Legend of Zelda series.[2] She is the third of the four Poe Sisters, and the youngest.[3]
Characteristics
Ocarina of Time

Amy appears along with her Sisters in the Forest Temple in Ocarina of Time. She and her oldest sister, Meg, are significant in their unique approach, as they test Link's puzzle solving abilities. Similarly to the other sisters, specifically Joelle and Beth, in her room is a giant portrait of herself. Link must shoot the picture with the Fairy Bow. However, instead of summoning her, the portrait flashes red and drops five blocks from its suspension in the ceiling. The blocks are part of a timed picture puzzle, with each block (save for one, which shows the blue flame from Beth) having a section of the picture that Link just shot at. To complete the puzzle, the Hero of Time must recreate the picture of Amy using the blocks by pushing them until they are properly aligned. In the event that Link runs out of time, the puzzle and timer will reset, but he will receive a small time extension within which to complete the puzzle each time he fails. Once the picture is recreated, Amy will finally reveal herself. Like the others except for Meg, if Link targets the Poe Sister, she will disappear and then reappear, and spin towards him with her green flaming torch in hand to attack. The Sword as well as Fairy Bow are effective weapons against her, but only when she is visible, as with ordinary Poes. After five hits with the Master Sword, she will be defeated and vanish in a puff of smoke, and the flamed torch she had stolen in the main room of the Temple will ignite.
Majora's Mask
Amy as seen in Majora's Mask
Amy appears along with her three Sisters at the Spirit House in Ikana Canyon in Majora's Mask. Link can battle all four of the Poe Sisters to earn a Piece of Heart at the cost of 30 Rupees. Here, Tatl identifies Amy as the third of the Poe Sisters.[3] The fight against Amy is identical from Ocarina of Time but does not require a puzzle to face her.
Oracle of Seasons
Amy appears as one of the two Poe Sisters in the Explorer's Crypt in Oracle of Seasons.
Trivia
- In Majora's Mask 3D, Tatl claims that Meg is the youngest of the Poe Sisters and Joelle being the oldest. This is developer oversight, as Amy herself is the youngest and Meg is actually is the oldest in the original Nintendo 64 version.
